Italian-Tunisian Collaboration

Collaboration with Charles Nicolle Hospital of Tunis

After the implementation of the law n.212, in 2004 the Cardarelli hospital submitted the project of “Scientific Collaboration for medical and surgical disciplines and for health economics” with the Charles Nicolle Hospital of Tunis.

The project, approved and financed by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, concluded on 30 June 2007, has laid the basis for an effective and concrete collaboration between both the staff of “A.Cardarelli” Hospital and “C.Nicolle” Hospital.

The project, designed after the experience acquired and in accordance with the Tunisian partner, has identified 21 different medical disciplines divided in 42 actions. These actions, agreed between the Italian and Tunisian operators, have been developed over a learning process which has planned the integration of distance learning phases (F.A.D.) with residential courses in Naples and Tunis, that have allowed to constitute, for each discipline chosen, a learners pool transformed in professors able to disseminate the competences acquired on the territory.
