SURG.Y.MED

Part of the program ENPI European Neighborhood and Partnership Instrument
Project SURG.Y.MED. (SURGery for Young people in the MEDiterranean sea), in which Hospital “A. Cardarelli” proposed itself as leader, is part of the program ENPI, European Neighbourhood and Partnership Instrument, funded by European Committee. The project expects a format similar to “Surgiland” with education sessions in Italy, abroad and with distance education.

SURG.Y.MED. intends to promote a scientific exchange among young surgeons, from the Mediterranean area, with the creation of a wide education network that aims to the enhancing and innovation of microsurgical and minimally invasive surgical techniques.

Sardinia Region is the Italian partner; Egypt, Tunisia and Palestinian territories are partners from the Mediterranean area.

The program hasn’t been selected from Joint Managing Authority for funding.
